LA-based Actor
Jonathan Cheung is a Los Angeles–based actor and graduate of the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio’s Professional Conservatory Program, where he earned his MFA. He has performed leading roles in Alexander Dinelaris’s Still Life, Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar (Cassius), and Molière’s The Misanthrope (Philinte).
In 2025, Jonathan starred in the award-winning short film Someday, directed by his brother Justin Cheung, and served as an understudy in East West Players’ revival of Yankee Dawg You Die by Philip Kan Gotanda.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Hong Kong, Jonathan brings an international perspective to his work and performs fluently in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
